If RPS has a 50% chance to severely imbalance the teams, do a gentelemans agreement instead? The whole captaining idea is to make a good (balanced) game right? If the current players aren't clever/fair enough to get a good game going, they will probably end up killing the small piecess that remains of the community. |

I can only assume zaizaizai is lame if im wrong let me know Duke's actions do not negate or change the fact that it is an issue... he reacted badly but it doesnt mean there isnt an underlying problem. P.s. can people stop posting as guests its quite confusing Edit: grunty Yes this is a good idea but as i said it needs to be adopted all the time not just if i am around to suggest it... |

Offering yourself to cap,wasting 15 minutes and then threatening to do "troll draft" instead of actually trying to be serious is basically negating everything you said.No idea why you are blaming the comunity,I allways captain when I am able to,for instance that game I was having my dinner at the time(I actually stated that I could go captain next game). First of all who are you? As I said I dont agree with his leaving, altho he had a reason for it. And my post was more general, not about that ih There rly needs to be a draft mode asap, it solver so so many issues |

Wow!!! What it has to do GuZ here? Is so rare that I go afk, maybe cuz an emergency call or door that's it. And yeah sorry Duke but that you ruined the game for 9 people waiting, sadly after that everyone or most left to play something else. I think IH situation is worst now, No cuz is bad players or toxic ones is most cuz of the lack of players who willing to lose time trying to make an IH or prefer go pub. Also is lack of players in general, the lobby chat looks smaller day by day. Let's hope when LOTV gets released some old people and new people will fill up this game again!  fingers cross! Literally nobody on that team was afk except for me as I had to go to the bathroom. He said "draft for me or I go worst troll draft u ever saw", went try hard and proceeded to rq when you lastpicked the new hero. "i didn't know anything about a new hero" *duke has left the game*. sounds like a nice kid |

i can say about myself, that i "only" capt vs lower guys like me... i am not interested in these games where after game the team blame capt for pick hero xxx before hero yyy, or sth like this... If i am in Lobby i try to be there whole player draft and also later hero draft, cos i know how much it sucks when the whole team is afk, and specially if u have players (like me) who cant play every hero good... I remember a game yesterday where i had to capt vs Lame. He gave me the first pick, so he has advantage (cos there were 3 of best players) and with FP i can get 1 and he easily the other 2. The result of that game doesnt matter this Time  Greetz Darkterror |

There's certainly a problem with not having people that want to captain, and then when a lower tier player volunteers to get the game going, and proceeds to have no help with the draft because all go afk. If we had a larger pool of players we could shun the afkers or the afkers could take a 10 min break between games and start a game later, but since we barely can ever get one IH going this isn't an option anymore.
And as others have said and I have experienced, a tier 1 person wants to capt and no one wants to capt verse, and then I might volunteer on the conditions that I get first two picks to offset my skill level vs theirs and they just said "lol no". I mean, why make the game less easy for you, right?
